Graphenol is a new TIM heat spreader foil that offers a handling friendly approach packaged with an ultra-high in-plane thermal conductivity of 1,500 W/m-K. Graphenol is designed to eliminate the traditional handling issues that exist within current pyrolitc heat spreading graphite foils such as breaking during installation while still being light weight and providing high heat dissipation in the lateral direction (XY) direction.
Graphenol is available with a thin layer of phase change coating (single or double coated) which significantly reduces the interfacial surface resistance allowing heat to move into the Graphenol heat spreader foil substrate with tremendously higher efficiency. The ability to combine high lateral heat spreading with phase change technology packages together in a handling friendly format makes Graphenol an ideal material for battery and energy storage applications.
Graphenol is also available in an uncoated form within multiple material constructions including adhesive tack backing, dielectric polyimide film barriers or conformable silicone pad backing.
Graphenol is readily available in sheets or die cuts to match a range of industry standard or custom outlines.
