This board is a combination of flexible and rigid boards, and does not require connectors to connect the boards, making it ideal for digital devices that are sensitive to noise.
Furthermore, the connector-less design allows for a thinner design and three-dimensional implementation.
Initially, it was used in the folding parts of flip phones.
